The iconic four-way phone call scene from the 2004 Lindsay Lohan movie translated completely into the Ashkenazi Jewish language of Yiddish. The film parody takes the Plastics out of their suburban Chicago setting and reimagines them as Jewish teenagers living in NYC”s Upper East Side in a world where the popular girls speak Yiddish.
WHY WE LIKE THIS FILM: A bit of fun recasting an icon of popular culture in NYC making Yiddish the cool lanugage.
