How to watch AJFF virtual content on your TV

ChromeCast – You must use the Chrome browser on your Android, Windows, or Mac OS device. After clicking the “View” button in your virtual access email, press “Play” on the next page. Wait until the short AJFF introductory video finishes and the feature film starts. Then cast directly from the player window by clicking the icon (see left) in the lower right hand corner of the browser window. Connect directly from the video. Do not use in-screen mirror mode. Note: Chromecasting is not available for iPhone or iPad. The browser on iOS devices does not support the necessary anti-piracy protocols.
Airplay – after clicking the “View” button in your virtual access email, press “Play” on the next page. Then Airplay directly from the player window by clicking the icon (see left) in the lower right corner. Connect directly from the video. Do not use in-screen mirror mode.
Apple TV. Apple TV app support has been discontinued. Apple TV users should use the Airplay instructions above.
Roku – download and install the Elevent TV app from the Roku store. Then go to virtual.goelevent.com If you are a pass-holder, use the Passholder Login with the same credentials you used to purchase you membership or pass. You will need to follow a one time procedure to link your Elevent account to our Roku – there are video instructions on our help page. If you have a ticket to the film, enter the voucher code from your Virtual Event access email. A short video is available with more details on the help page.
FireTV – download and install the Elevent Online Events app from the FireTV appstore. Then go to virtual.goelevent.com If you are a pass-holder, use the Passholder Login with the same credentials you used to purchase you membership or pass. You will need to follow a one time procedure to link your Elevent account to our FireTV – there are video instructions on our help page. If you have a ticket to the film, enter the voucher code from your Virtual Event access email. A short video is available with more details on the help page.
Other SmartTVs – If you can access your email in your SmartTV’s built-in browser try clicking the “View” button in the virtual access email, followed by “Play” on the next page. Not all SmartTVs will be able to play videos in this manner.
If none of these options is available to you, consider connecting an HDMI cable from your device to your TV.
