How to watch AJFF virtual films on your TV

Try one of the options below.

Having difficulties? Check our help page.
Note: AJFF cannot provide technical support on connecting your devices.

ChromeCast – You must be using the Chrome browser on your Android, Windows, or Mac OS device. After clicking the “View” button in your virtual access email, press “Play” on the next page. Wait until the short AJFF introductory video finishes and the feature film starts. Then cast directly from the player window by clicking the icon (see left) in the lower right hand corner of the browser window. Connect directly from the video. Do not use in-screen mirror mode. Note: Chromecasting is not available for iPhone or iPad. The browser on iOS devices does not support the necessary anti-piracy protocols.
Airplay – after clicking the “View” button in your virtual access email, press “Play” on the next page. Then Airplay directly from the player window by clicking the icon (see left) in the lower right corner. Connect directly from the video. Do not use in-screen mirror mode.
Apple TV – download the Elevent TV app from the Apple store. Then go to virtual.goelevent.com If you are a pass-holder, use the Passholder Login with the same credentials you used to purchase you membership or pass. If you got a ticket to the film, enter the voucher code from your Virtual Event access email. A short video is available with more details on the help page.
Roku – download and install the Elevent TV app from the Roku store. Then go to virtual.goelevent.com If you are a pass-holder, use the Passholder Login with the same credentials you used to purchase you membership or pass. If you got a ticket to the film, enter the voucher code from your Virtual Event access email. A short video is available with more details on the help page.
Other SmartTVs – If you can access your email in your SmartTV’s built in browser try clicking the “View” button in the virtual access email, followed by “Play” on the next page. Not all SmartTVs will be able to play videos in this manner.
If none of these options is available to you, consider connecting an HDMI cable from your device to your TV.
