AJFF is looking for volunteers to enhance our committee—Join a great group, and use your talents for good.

The 19th annual Jewish Film Festival is coming this November with a hybrid format—both in-person and virtual programs.  AJFF also produces the AJFF365 Monthly Film Series in collaboration with Shalom Austin.

If you have skills in any of the following areas and would like to work with a dynamic, volunteer-run team to help bring the best of Jewish and Israeli cinema and TV to Austin, please click the “VOLUNTEER!” button and send us an email with a brief summary of your skillset and availability.

The festival is recruiting for committee members with basic skills in the following areas:

  • Writing and editing
  • Development/fundraising
  • Grant writing
  • Project management
  • Technology

For in-person events, we also need volunteers for various “day-of-event” jobs such as ushering and taking tickets.   Volunteers for these roles need to be able to stand comfortably for an hour, have basic tech skills (e.g., know how to use a smartphone), and be personable and well presented.
