Anti-Semitism is on the rise worldwide, and even more driven by the Corona crisis. Jew Süss 2.0 documents the visual roots of this new anti-Semitism, taking a historical look back at the visual propaganda of National Socialism.
WHY WE LIKE THIS FILM: This event is a co-presentation of AJFF and The Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies at UT. A recording from the Q&A from the in-person program including an introduction by AJFF Director David Finkel and includes a post-film discussion with a panel of experts from the University of Texas: Dr. Tatjana Lichtenstein, Dr. Kiril Avramov, and Ph.D. candidate Gabrielle Beacken, moderated by Dr. Samantha Pickette will be available on the AJFF website. An important look at the role of media in contemporary Antisemitism.
