Falling Up (virtual)
Rami, an evacuee from a southern border town, finds refuge in a luxury hotel, a state-funded paradise that masks his looming exile. On the final day of evacuation, he fights desperately to hold onto his new life. His plea to stay longer turns into a desperate struggle for identity and belonging.
WHY WE LIKE THIS FILM: Perhaps the most Jewish thing of all is to find humor in the shadow of tragedy.
