7:00-8:00 PM | Party

8:15 PM | The Keeper

The party
The seventeenth season of the Austin Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) opens with a party followed by a film at Austin’s Long Center for the Performing Arts in the Rollins Studio Theater.

We’re thrilled to be downtown in this amazing space for Opening Night with nosh catered by John Sutton, music provided by guitarist Dan Bekker, and a cash bar.

Following the party, AJFF will present “The Keeper,” a film based on the true story of Bert Trautmann, a German who played professional soccer for Manchester City, England, after the Second World War, from 1949 to 1964.

Tickets are just $36 for the party and film (does not include parking). All AJFF Patrons receive free parking at the Long Center parking garage; Patrons at the Film Fan level and above receive free admission to the party. All Patrons must make a reservation for the opening event.

For more details, check out the Patron benefits on our website or in the 2019 Austin Jewish Film Festival Guide in the November Jewish Outlook.
