NEW TICKETING SYSTEM
AJFF has started using a new ticketing system from a company called Elevent. This enables a host of new features, and you will see more of them as we progress into the future. One key change for 2019 is that FLEX PASSES will no longer be physical – these will be implemented electronically, and we recommend that FLEX PASS holders make free online reservations (up to the limits of their FLEX PASS).
Note: All ticket prices including Opening Night are inclusive of ticketing and facility fees.
FESTIVAL BADGES may be purchased anywhere you see a “Buy FESTIVAL BADGE” button on the AJFF website. For FESTIVAL BADGE holders who want to attend the opening night event, it is mandatory to obtain a ticket online from the Long Center box office. A promo code that will enable you to obtain a free ticket from their site will be included in the FESTIVAL BADGE confirmation email that you will receive. See
here for instructions on how to setup your credentials and use the FESTIVAL BADGE. Once you are registered it is simple – just show up to events at the Regal Cinema and show your badge.
To purchase individual tickets (Premium or General Admission), search for and click/press on the film or event you would like to attend. You can keep browsing to add additional tickets to your shopping cart or checkout right away.
If you don’t have an account with Elevent, you will be prompted to create one so we can better serve you.
After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with your tickets attached. The email will be sent to the email address registered with the account. You may either bring a printed copy of the film or show the link on your smart phone for entry at the door.
If you can’t find the email with your ticket, you can also retrieve your tickets from your Elevent Order History, or you may contact the AJFF at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can resend your email.
ONLINE – SAVE TIME AND MONEY
Premium tickets, General Admission tickets, and tickets for FLEX PASS holders are available online. Discount codes for Premium and General Admission tickets are valid online only. Purchasers of online tickets do not need to stop at the AJFF box office at the Arbor; they should proceed directly to the AJFF theater to have their online ticket scanned.
TICKETS FOR FLEX PASS HOLDERS
FLEX PASS users must setup their online credentials for the FLEX PASS to be used. See
here for instructions.
For FLEX PASS holders who want to attend the opening night event, it is mandatory to obtain a ticket online from the Long Center box office. A promo code that will enable you to obtain a free ticket from their site will be included in the FLEX PASS confirmation email that you will receive. AJFF will debit your FLEX PASS account for 3 admissions per attendee for the opening night event.
For all other events, FLEX PASS holders are encouraged to make online reservations to expedite their entry into the theater and to ensure they have a seat for the event. Details on the process to use the system to get your free tickets can be found here.
If a FLEX PASS holder wishes to attend an event at the Regal cinema and has not made a reservation in advance, they should head straight to the theater entrance – do not stop at the box office. If there are still seats remaining, the usher will deduct one admission from your FLEX PASS for each person in your party and admit you.
AT THE BOX OFFICE
Tickets may be purchased at the theater during festival hours only. The AJFF box office will open 45 minutes prior to the first screening of the day and will close 30 minutes after the last film of the day begins.
Rush tickets may be sold 15 minutes before events at the box office only. Even if an event is sold out online, there will typically be some rush tickets available at the theater, as some seats are reserved for Festival Badge holders who may not use all their allocation.
Tickets bought at the Box Office can only be purchased with cash or credit card. Note: discount codes are not valid at the box office.
